    Guadalajara, Jalisco - Local hero Ulises "Archie" Solis retained the IBF flyweight world title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Filipino Jether Oliva at the Benito Juárez Auditorium. "Archie" Solis (34-2-3, 21 KOs) was the far better boxer and threw a higher number of rapid, accurate attacks. The scores were 120-108, 118-110 and 119-109.

      If not with the low blows of Solis, Oliva should have won the fight, well the fight was in Mexico so what do you expect.

        Fuentes gave a good fight and deserved the win against Rayito García. It would be good to see a rematch.

          Expect the same thing that would happen in The Phillipines, Puerto Rico, Argentina, England, US, etc... Hometown favoritism happens everywhere smart guy!!!

              It's funny how they all seem to be tomato cans once they lose in some peoples eyes. Pretty pathetic but it's par for the course. This Oliva guy is actually pretty good. He's young and probably needs time to develop. Of course if he wins a few, they'll be nuthugging all night long along with a cold San Mig.
