Has there ever been a family as deeply rooted in boxing as the Mayweathers?

Headlined by Floyd Jr, the Mayweather clan boasts fighters of the past, present and future generation along with a few trainers as well.

The Mayweather name is so deeply rooted in boxing, it's hard to imagine that had not Floyd Sr chose to walk into a boxing gym that fateful day, none of this would be possible.

Boxing has had it's share of family siblings as well as second generation fighters but is there another family as deeply rooted as the Mayweathers?

Who has the greater family legacy?

    Mayweather

    Klitschko

    Spinks

The Garcias, Spinks, Chavez, Ali, Foremans, Arces, Marquez (some call them the best boxing brothers of all time) etc

alot of boxers come from boxing families

IMO Mikey Garcia has the potential and talent to be the best Garcia

The Attell Bros, the Gibbons Bros the Baer Bros, The Jefferies Bros, Tye Fullmer Bros, The Hilton Family in Canada, and so many others. The Stribling Family Ma, Pa and young Bill, The Klitschko Bros.

But I think that the Spincks Bros might just shade it with having 2 Olympic Gold Medal winners as well as 2 Heavyweight World Champions, as well as their lesser titles and Cory Spinks also.

The Foreman Family has the opportunity with, I think, 11 george Foremans........

I've always thought that George was a bit nuts.

of course not, the mayweathers invented boxing....they go all the way back to pappy mayweather IV in the late 1800s.

              everyone else learned from them.

              the mayweathers created the following:

              jab to the body
              shoulder roll
              lead right
              pull counter
              uppercut
              in and out footwork
              stepping to the side
              fighting off the ropes
              combination punching

boxing would suck without the mayweathers.

Harold Johnson's father Phil Johnson was a fighter also.

Jersey Joe Walcott beat both of them. The only fighter to beat a Father and their Son.
