Sasha, you should have never put your trust in Atlas, you dumped the biggest payday and biggest opportunity of your life based on his advice, believing that he was looking out for your interest. Now, it's clear Atlas never really cared about you, only about himself, "screw Povetkin - I got ****ty FNF to appear on so that I can ramble on about how ****ty the Klitschkos are".

Alexander Povetkin’s road to heavyweight glory nearly came without an atlas – Teddy Atlas, that is.

Contractual obligations and a breakdown in communication between all parties involved resulted in a much shorter camp than Atlas would’ve preferred for Povetkin’s heavyweight showdown versus Ruslan Chagaev this Saturday at Messen Halle in Efrurt, Germany.

The fight will be aired live in the United States on premium cable network EPIX (Saturday 5PM ET), and also simulcast on its website (EpixHD) as well as in New York City’s Time Square.

Teddy is feeling insecure and looking for an excuse.

If Povetkin can't beat a shot fighter like Ruslan Chagaev, then that wretched old nutcase has ruined him.

Teddy has a way of diminishing his fighters' confidence. Poor Michael Grant was openly crying the day of his fight with Dominic Guinn after Teddy's verbal abuse.

If Povetkin loses on Saturday, hopefully he will have the good sense to fire Teddy and find a decent trainer.

Teddy, decide if you want to be a commentator or a trainer. I know its hard since you only have 1 fighter but lol. You expect Povetkin to drop everything, go to a country he doesnt know, bring his entire staff? and do what? Wait until you finish commentating out of some Indian Reservation before you grace him with your presence? How kind of you.

Povetkin mustve been on drugs when he hired Atlas, he is the last person you would hire if you wanted to be a successful boxer. If anything goes wrong Teddy will blame Povetkin and run away crying about "no good heavyweights" and that if Delvin Rodriguez only gained 80lb's he could be HW champ

I really think we should all bow our heads and have a boxing scene minute of silence for the poor individual who had to sit next to A nervous atlas, all the way to Russia.

May god have mercy on your soul.

              Teddy is a weird guy..

He knows his stuff but I don't if it translates to well to training. Plus the guy is just a weirdo..

I wonder if any of the Atlas haters will give Teddy his due if Povetkin wins this Sat? Probably not....

why for God's sake did Povetkin took that unstoppable chatterer, master of bad vibes, finding wrong all over except with himself, and basically a quite mentally limited pompous ass, for a trainer it is beyond me…let’s face it bright and boxer do not go together even if some are quite charismatic speakers….

Chagaev at +500 is not a bad bet all things considered. I've never been too high on Povetkin to begin with
