A while back it was reported that Clottey wants a minimum of $500K or else he will sit out. I guess after getting decent money against Pacquiao he won't accept a much lesser payday. Well he will just continue to sit out and not make anything then. But at least he has Arum to make another in-house fight for him (possibly) against Marg-Cotto winner.

Clotty has been a mystery since the Cotto fight, which he was clearly winning after 6 rounds -- then he incredibly just stopped punching for the rest of the fight, letting Cotto steal the win -- since then, he's basically been in limbo except for the loss to MP in which he showed the same lack of determination and will to win -- something seems to be missing in Clotty's approach to fighting at the top level that has prevented him from real achievement

I guess he'll be sitting out forever then lol what an idiot.

Best thing he could have done is immediately fight after that terrible pac performance, even against a bum for fourteen dollars and a happy meal, as long as he looked good, got a nice KO and moved on. Get that nasty memory out of people's minds. But since he hasn't fought, that's all people remember about him - a completely lopsided shutout loss to pacquiao in a fight where he just didn't "give it his all" and as they say, you're only as good as your last fight and he wasn't worth **** that night.
