    According to WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez (49-7, 43KOs), his upcoming title defense against Roger Mtagwa (27-14-2, 19KOs) on September 15th in El Paso, Texas, will be televised in the United States as a special event on ESPN and carried in Mexico on Televisa. On the undercard, Antonio Escalante and Miguel "Mickey" Roman will appear in separate bouts.

      Gotta be kidding me...Jhonny turned down a fight with Gamboa because "the money wasn't right", and now he's taking on journeyman Rogers Mtagwa? Does Gonzalez think he can hold out for more cash? Geezzzz....

                    Good card and a good time to show a fight considering Mayweather-Ortiz is two days later so ESPN will already have their boxing hat on and will be able to pump this up a bit.
