All these articles blaming the referee but not one about the "current champion."

Abnutt Mares is as guilty as Mora's inability to properly referee the fight.

Abnutt threw some unintentional low blows but I can honestly say having watched the fight again for the third time that he kept throwing low blows when he was pinned down by Agbeko. Basically, when he was being pushed around by Agbeko's power he was throwing intentional low blows to get away from his opponent.

If Mora was doing his job properly and deducting points from Mares, I have no doubt Mares would definitely stop going low. So Mora and Mares are equally to blame.

WOW! The first time I agree with Puerto Rico Boxing..LOL...Dude stop talkin down too my boy Vanes... Especialy since he respects your boy Cotto the most from the 154 pounders son... It's not his fault they're not giving him big fights... What if he fights your other Puerto Rico boy Cintron.. Than what? Don't tell me Cintron is gna beat Vanes too? Cmon!

This guy Mora was paid off like the ref in the NBA was against Lakers vs Kings...Cmon after 20 low blows you still give Abnela warnings... Cmon! It's so clear he got some extra cash... There is no way a ref can be that oblivous to what is going on... ANybody who has no clue about Boxing can see there were over 15 to 20 low blows that night.. Abnela is a dirty fighter.. After rematch with Akbeko than Darchinyan...
