Comments Thread For: Omar Chavez: Julio Would Knock Saul Alvarez Out!

Culiacán, Sin - Welterweight contender Omar Chavez, the younger brother of undefeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., said a fight between his older brother and Mexican rival Saul "Canelo" Alvarez would be "good for the sport of boxing" and "good for both boxers financially" and "it's the fight that everyone in Mexico wants."

The only reason Chavez jr is considered "top boxer" is because of his father. I watched him against Zbik some months ago, the guy has no chance against a trully good boxer. He won't fight Canelo any time soon, he will keep fighting second and third class guys for as long as he can so he can keep the hype up. And when finally he will be made to fight a good boxer the legend of Chavez jr will end.

Two fraud's, one has to win. But no way do they risk the circus act gravy train on both sides by putting Ginger with Chavez. The side show has to go on. Step right up folks, we have the bearded lady, the red-headed Mexican, and the child of a famous fighter.

As ginger once said while making his way up the ranks, "I earned fame with my fists, not my last name." This statement can not be more true. Canelo KO's him within 8.
