If the ref hadn't been paid off by golden girl he would have taken a point early in the fight and Mares would have either A: stop throwing low blows, which would have left Agbeko with fresher legs late to post a stronger rally or B: continue throwing low blows and get disqualified. Either way agbeko wins with fair scoring. Even with Mora doing everything in his power to make mares win, I still had agbeko winning 116-112. it's true that out Agbeko was mostly ineffective and tentative until about round 9 when Mares starting tiring -- but the constant low blows definitely were a factor -- Agbeko needs to start stronger mext time and wear Mares down with his work rate
