Comments Thread For: Berto on Pacuqiao-Marquez III and How Juan Can Win

Recently at the Undisputed Gym in the Bay Area, I caught up with former WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (27-1-0, 21 KOs) who is currently training hard for his IBF title fight on September 3 against the Slovenian champion Jan Zaveck (31-1-0, 18 KOs) in Biloxi, Mississippi to talk about his return to the ring after suffering the first loss of his career against Victor Ortiz last April.

So that is what he did in his last fight. I believe him but he is under estimating the inteligence of Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao of today is a very well seasoned experienced fighter. He can immediately adopt to his opponents style and the moment he gets his opponent...his opponent will forget all his plans and will start cowering like a frightened mouse. We saw what happened to Oscar Delia Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Shame Mostly and even the concrete handed Antonio Margarito, these are all monstrous fighters that took the test in Manny Pacquiao...just one punch from the Pacman and they all forgot their game plans.

Berto would run like a b*tch and clinch for dear life after the first 5 seconds if he got in the ring with Pacquiao.

He also knows Pac would beat Floyds ass because all Floyd does is potshot and run

and the scary thing is Pacquiao hasn't even reached his prime yet. I bet he would rock Vitali if he really wanted to.
also "No mas" would get Hatton'd. Pac would beat him worse than Hearns did.

          PACMAN THE GOAT!

Pacquiao/Berto would be a great fight to watch, and running from Pacquiao would be the biggest mistake Berto could make so I think he's right by his statements. Berto needs to continue working on his stamina and lay off the weights. Hopefully whatever Conte is doing for Ward/Donaire works for hiim as well.
