According to the Manchester Evening News, former two-division champion Ricky Hatton is possibly going to obtain a trainer's licence as early as next month. Hatton officially announced his retirement from boxing in July, and runs a thriving promotional company [Hatton Promotions], but wants to help his fighters in the corner as well.

no reason he wont be able to correct them in other fighters. none at all.
in fact i'll guess that he's going to try and make more rounded fighters than he was.

look at freddie roach
he was flawed and relatively lacking talent
and he's the best trainer on the planet and he's responsible for turning pacquiao in the best figter int he world and the fighter he's become today



after all, ricky has an otherworldly amount of experience in HUGE fights
he's a promotor now
he knows what it's like to be a world champion
and to lose and get knocked out.

what DOESNT he know about boxing at this point?

Freddy roach was taught how to train fighters after his career ended by one of the last old school masters eddy futch. Hatton only has his bad trainers as examples

Ricky will train them to take canvas naps will out cold mid ring elf style. ricky will teach them to use their face to block all punches. what a hoot. Hatton couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. Hatton trying to teach boxing would be like Mike Tyson trying to pray.
