I'd rather see a Senchenko fight than a Berto fight, at least that way he gets a belt. Berto is high risk/low reward. He can fight him after he becomes a champion.

kell brook is the english berto. easy road to a title. this is why titles mean absolutely nothing in boxing. you can safely guide your man to a title without facing one legitimate threat. i wonder if he will defend it against bums over and over like berto? my gut says yes.

I called this. I knew they were gonna give him an easy title fight so he can face Khan in the summer...What a joke.

wow great brook fans on this forum. warren literally had him sitting on his ass and everyone was happy.

now that he's fighting threats there's a ton of criticism flying.
if beating n'dou and jacky brings him to a world title shot, why not? apparently nobody else is interested in fighting senchenko in minsk, ukraine. if brook snatches the belt there, and brings it back to light what's there to hate?

Really lame. Brook really is the English Berto isn't he?

God, I despise these kinda fighters. They ruin boxing.

the guys that he's fighting (or plans to) are currently on his level of name and market viability. IE: not much.
how is he an english berto? berto has been getting 1 mil paydays for fighting bums. brooke hasn't been able to even get a fight under warren.
give the man a chance ....

Yea, he's not making any money, probably.

But he also seems intent on taking easy fights for is whole career. The guy is what 25, or 26? What has he done?

He should've pushed for the Mike Jones fight, or even fought Cotto or K-9. You have to to dare to be great. Take a little risk. This is just boring and uninteresting.

I wouldn't get too upset with Brook yet, because I will believe Senchenko will fight him when the bell rings. Senchenko has been unwilling to fight anyone with a pulse since "winning" his "title" 2 1/2 years ago. His opposition has made Berto look like he's been fighting a murderer's row. So don't count on Brook v Senchenko

What's up with the amount of dumb ****s on this board?

Seriously, go look at Brook's record. If you know shit, you'd know that although he's had 20+ fights he ain't that experienced at the higher level. They ain't just going to throw him in with a top champion.

I'm happy he's fighting Rafa then Senchenko afterwards. Warren put Brook in with too many mediocre fighters, at least Hearn is doing something about it.
