DELAHOYA: "I Know The Formula to beat MAYWEATHER. I'm Giving It to ORTIZ"

According to a recent post on his official Twitter page, future Hall of Famer Oscar De La Hoya believes that he knows the secret to beating Floyd Mayweather and he plans on giving it to WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz prior to his September 17 showdown with the undefeated pound-for-pound...

I bet Oscar is glad he didn't fight Whitaker and Chavez in their prime.

Sooo, you were 34 and inactive. Right, Oscar?

How old is Floyd? How active has Floyd been?

Can't blame ODLH, though. Dude has a fighter to represent, and a fight to sell.

Is that the formula he used or the one he taught Hatton?

I don't blame De La Hoya for representing his fighters or selling fights.

His comments are so just ironic and even hypocritical at times.

haha, that's what i was thinking. I think he gave to Mosley the formula as well but that one didn't work out well either.

my initial reaction was to tell Oscar to F off.

and then i saw all the ******s bashing Oscar. Oscar has a great resume-- ya he talks a lot of **** now and he wears panty hose and all that-- but he fought the best, did wonders for the sport, and is great for boxing.

De la hoya came into the fight between 165-175lbs
Mayweather came into the fight at 148
De la hoya made Mayweather wear pillows for gloves

And dude still couldn't beat Mayweather.
                  That fight wasn't even close.
                  I scored it 9-3 Mayweather

So I guess De la hoya is teaching Ortiz how to lose.
