  • Comments Thread For: Golden Show Being Planned Pre-Mayweather vs Ortiz

BoxingScene.com had been advised that Golden Boy Promotions is trying to put together a Las Vegas card on September 16th, which is the day before their mega-show at the MGM Grand with Floyd Mayweather Jr. challenging Victor Ortiz for the WBC welterweight title. There is a very good chance of the show being televised as a special edition of ESPN's "Friday Night Fights." The card will be loaded with up and coming talent from the Golden Boy stable, including Las Vegas native and undefeated lightweight contender Sharif Bogere (20-0, 12KOs). No venue has been finalized for show.

They have to do this because up to now very few people are interested in buying tickets. Flies are everywhere in the ticket booths.

You sure about that? I heard several hours after they started selling tickets that they were almost sold out. Hmm sounds like you're just wishing it flops. SMH sad.
