Sources have advised BoxingScene.com that WBC featherweight titlist Jhonny Gonzalez will return on Thursday, Sept. 15, defending against Panama-based Roinet Caballero.
Gonzalez (49-7, 43 KOs) will look to make it 10 wins in a row. Caballero (30-1-1, 22 KOs) has lost both times he stepped up in competition, falling at the hands of Daniel Ponce de Leon and Chris John.

Jhonny's opponent is 30-10, not 30-1. I dig Jhonny but this should be a non-title fight because Caballero has no business in a title fight any more than he did when Chris John gave him an ill-advised shot a few years ago
