    WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, and his next opponent, Alfonso Gomez, went face to face during the second leg of their promotional tour, at the PlazAmericas Mall in Houston, Texas. Former lightweight king Juan Diaz came out to support the fight.     I don't know whats the bigger JOKE. The billing of "Star Power" or the fact this is "PAY PER VIEW"

        I think that is PPV! lol... BUt i gotta give Gomez's entire management team props, this freakin kid came from a Boxing show and look where he is now... Hilarious..Although is gna lose I think he is gna give a better showing than no counterpunching Rhodes...lol..

            i guess they thought ginger wasnt ready for mayorga but gomez will fight but he is weak to the body and cant hang with punchers we will see how much power canelo has

                  I still remember the beating Gomez took from Cotto. It was priceless. It looked like Cotto was practicing on him or sparring. This guy Gomez is a joke.

                    He did indeed recieve a thorough beating at the hands of Cotto, I wouldn't go as far as to say he's a joke, he's a good boxer just not a boxer that can compete on the elite level. People on this site seem to not know how much courage it takes to step into the ring, not to mention on such a high stage. Either way I got Canelo by KO.
