i agree - no need for a rematch - tarver controlled the fight from start to finish save a few moments. green looked absolutely befuddled. I think the posters who were saying Tarver should have been fighting at cruiserweight since he beat Roy Jones Jr. are spot on. . . He looked so natural and comfortable there. Once again, a huge congratulations to Tarver for going to Australia and beating a pretty good (not great), but good heavy handed live opponent in Green.

Wishful thinking, but maybe, just maybe this could be the start of cruiserweight getting more attention. some good fights to be made.

Green came in heavier than he has in a long time and it showed. Maybe do to his surgery?? I think he can continue, but maybe should consider going to light-heavyweight. There will be good fights, and money at LHW.

I don't like Angelo Hyder, he runs his mouth too much. It's not his decision to make on whether Green keeps on fighting. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Green does retire. He's 38, has had health issues and is a dedicated family man.

I hope he does decide to hang them up and not go chasing the ca$h. He's still got plenty to offer the sport in his capacity as a promoter. He put on one the better cards we've had in recent years. I hope to see more of it.
