Cotto-Margarito II Is The Biggest Boxing Event Of the Year

Mayweather-Ortiz and Pacquiao-Marquez III have nothing on this. This fight in New York with over 20K of Cotto fans packing MSG to rafters to see Cotto fight his arch nemesis and proabably the most hated boxer in Puerto Rican/Cotto fans history is the biggest event then you put the fact that Mexicans have been owning the Ricans all year long and this fight has more on the line than just another rematch the pride of Cotto and Puerto Rican boxing is on the line and is on the hands of the face of Puerto Rican boxing Miguel Cotto!!!!!!!

No it's not man, this just breeds Cotto hate.

It's a great event, no doubt and I think every boxing fan is looking forward to it, but anything involving Floyd or Pacquiao will trump anything involving Cotto or Margarito.

This is THE fight I'm most excited about. I can't wait to see Floyd Ortiz and Pac JMM but it's Cotto Margz that has me amped.

I agree man, while Ortiz/May and Pacquiao/JMM will be bigger events in general, Cotto/Margs is gonna be insane. I'm willing to bet anything that fight will be in the running for FOTY and the bad blood and back story is more compelling than the Pac and Floyd fights by a mile.

                I agree with this.

There is nothing in boxing with so much organic substance as this rematch. Its something that has weighed on the minds of everyones consciousness for so very long that its going to have a cataclysmic impact on the sport.

jmm/pac comes close, and ortiz/floyd is nice fight, but you can't script or manufacture a the kind of built in intrigue that stems from tony/cotto 1.

                It will be incredible.

It's been a somewhat slow year for boxing, at least for PPV events.

I look forward to this rematch, and I hope it won't be a letdown.

I really don't think there is much chance that this fight won't be exciting.
