I first saw this kid at Buddy McGirt's gym in Vero Beach, Fla., he was giving the business to Sechew Powell, who was about to fight Deandre Latimore for the first time.

I could see that he had something there, and he was still just an amateur.

Elegele will actually be fighting once-beaten Aaron Martinez [14-1, 3 KOs] of East Los Angeles, not Bernardo Guereca. Guereca's father passed away and he pulled out Sunday.

Boxrec has him fighting a fighter named Lanard Lane 12(7) 1(0). Says he is a full time fireman out out Houston, TX. And I just watched Joseph's fights on You Tube and he looks like the real deal.
