Yes, Iremember Gulio Rinaldi very well, especially that first fight with Archie Moore. Everyone though that Moore was reaching the "end of the trail" and expected him to also lose the rematch, for the Title. Much to the surprise of most he won. And after that, there were stories going around that "The Old Mongoose" had deliberately lost the first fight, to
make an interesting title Fight, or even for betting purposes.
In the event, Rinaldi was a very good fighter, but at the European Championship level.
