No offence or anything.. but I feel that you are I are just not on the same page... I did say that it's "Personal" which is kinda self explanatory. Why do you bring credibility of the sport and fans into it?

Vatali wants to embarrass Haye and that would give him the satisfaction... has nothing to do with what this fight does to his career, ratings, or anything else... this is personal. And guess what... he will still make millions by taking care of business. So what are you talking about "Take it to the street?" They are professional boxers at world championship level... not some hoodlums

And there are other professional boxers who didn't just get their ass kicked in embarrassing fashion. My point is, personal or not, there are more worthy contenders who have waited their turn in line. If Haye had made a decent showing I wouldn't be arguing this. But in no way is he worthy of another title shot just because Klitschko fans want to see him get beat up again. When money fight like this are allowed to happen (and we all know that's all it would be about) than it hurts the sports credibility, it might as well be professional wrestling. The heavyweight division is in terrible shape as it is. Another crappy showing and it just turns fans of the SPORT off to it even more.

Does anyone else feel that Haye never had any intention to fight Vitali, irrespective of whether he won or lost against Wlad? I always thought if he beat Wlad, he would retire to avoid fighting Vitali.

Had he beaten Wlad the amount of money on offer to fight Vitali would've been INSANE. He'd have taken the fight and quite probably a beating for that. Now he's not going to make nearly as much so he won't do it.
