The European lightweight title clash between Gavin Rees and Derry Matthews is being postponed to September, according to promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport. The fight was scheduled for July 23 in Cardiff but Rees sustained an training injury and was forced to withdraw. Hearn will look for a date at the end of September, and Matthews may still go forward with a stay busy fight in the month of July on a different card.
