Comments Thread For: Pongsaklek Wongjonkam Victorious, Edgar Sosa is Next

In excellent match from start to finish, the flyweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Pongsaklek Wongjonkam of Thailand, retained his title by winning a twelve round unanimous decision over brave Japanese challenger Takuya Kogawa in Hatyai, Thailand. It was a heated battle in which more experienced Pongsaklek had sufficient merit to claim victory.

These are the types of fight hbo should pick up. Wongjonkam vs sosa. Two good fighters and would cost the network little too nothing for a great quality fight.

A great fight. But, well, how many JP fighters does Wongjonkam have to beat? I think him and Arce should have taken place long long ago - screw WBC for this. But, oh yeah, him and Sosa is coming up next? That will be a very interesting matchup. Can wait to seem them both in action in the ring.

Well finally, Wongjonkam has faced a lot of bums recently, a fight with Sosa will certainly be a good one.

It will be interesting to see if Wongjonkam-Sosa actually happens, and where it will take place. Wongjonkam has never defended outside of Asia and has a remarkable record of fighting bums rather than unifying or taking on top opponents (with a few exceptions, such as Kameda and Naito). Hopefully the Sosa fight will happen because it would be a good one, no matter where it happens
