People still accuse Holyfield of using steriods even thought he was tested

Exactly. Investigators who were linking athletes to Victor Conte and BALCO found a notebook with numerous names in it. Inside this notebook was the number for a man (later found to be an alias) who lived in Atlanta and was the same age as Holyfield. When the investigators called the number Holyfield answered. Holyfield was definitely a BALCO athlete. Even before linking up with Conte it's possible he was using other banned substances. Holyfield not ever testing positive means nothing because the whole purpose of BALCO was the fact that they designed steroids that could not be detected through the standard tests used at that time. Many of their athletes never tested positive (Marion Jones, Shane Mosley, Barry Bonds, Tim Montgomery, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, etc...) and were only found to be guilty by overwhelming evidence, their own admission or the admission of others around them.Last edited by Wukillabeez78; 06-23-2011, 06:13 PM.Comment

the doubt or stigma an accusation puts on a person's integrity is subjective......
believers and non-believers will continue to argue even though a valid pronouncement or verdict from the proper authorities was already made....
we will see something of this come about soonComment
