As previously reported, the retired Micky Ward wound up in the hospital after being attacked by a dog while trying to break up a dog fight. Ward was bitten on his arm, and his index finger was severely injured. His rep says Ward tried to get in between his dog and a stray, when he was attacked. Ward has been released from the hospital and says he is "doing fine." Ward, the inspiration for the movie "The Fighter," was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday and released Sunday after being checked for potential complications.
