Liakhovich is snakebit: that's two cancelled fights for him in the last couple of months. He just can't get his career restarted.

In a way, it's good news for Lyakhovich.

He definitely needs a warm-up before fighting someone like Helenius. I imagine Kathy Duva will set him up with another fight soon.

I wonder who Kubrat Pulev will be fighting on this card? I see he's now ranked #15 by the WBA. I'd like to see him in with Boswell or Mormeck so to improve his WBA ranking and get him closer to a world title shot,

Hopefully in Newark where I can go see it.

I like Sergei but have no doubt he was in tough against the stone-fisted Helenius.

Still, I was interested to see how he would fare.

How about Liakhovich versus Tony Thompson or Chris Arreola?

Thompson is fighting Chambers next in a IBF final eliminator.

I'd give Lyakhovich a warm-up before putting him in with Arreola. Someone like Arreola's last opponent Releford would be okay.

according to Finnish press Helenius has vacated his EBU EU title and Pulev and Rogan are going to fight for it

I've been hoping that Kubrat would fight for a regional title - he's too good to be just in 8 rounders all the time. It will be good to see Rogan back as well.

This will likely be considered to be one of the three main events and be televised by ARD.

Dissappointing news as I was looking forward to seeing this matchup. They should keep Liakhovich on card though and match him up against another decent contender since he'll be ready to fight.
