    Just wondering.
How is this relevant? He's still going to fight someone very dangerous after his lay off which is something no one else would do.

Pacquiao would beat up Ortiz, and Ortiz would be ruined.

Vitali came back after 4 years out of the game and won the WBC Heavyweight championship.

Floyd is fighting someone that got out boxed by Petterson 6 month ago.
He was outboxed in the later rounds because his mentality was weak he felt he had done enough and went on cruise control. He seems to have come back with a different mentality and a confidence boost after his fight with Berto. He was never discouraged after his knock downs which is something he didn't show for the Maidana fight.
Regarding Vitali, are you seriuosly going to compare the level of competition? this is one of the worst heavy weight eras I can remember.

You guys seem to think more of Mayweather than his actual fans to expect him to have a breeze against Ortiz.
sugar ray leonard...not only did he fought a newly crowned fighter but a great champion in marvin hagler. and mind you leonard had to go up in weight for that fight...that's like floyd going up to fight martinez after a layoff.

4 years out and he put on a masterclass.
Ali came back from 3 and half years out and took on Quary.
Oscar came back from almost 3 year out to take the WBC light-middleweight title.

Are you still saying no one.

Seems like a lot of boxers have outstripped Floyd in that department, but you still stay in denial.

And did you say the same for Mosley's 14 month lay off?

Damn, Johannes is learning a lot about boxing tonight.

Mosley was much older, was going through a divorce, he does not live the gym life and was overtrained.

How long has Wlad been out of the ring for? Is that long enough for an excuse.

Ofcourse he is a tune up, why do you think Uncle Roger was saying Floyd was coming back and was looking for a tune up fight for.

That's my point. It takes greatness to do what he's doing, yet some are saying that Mayweather should completely dominate in an effort to nullfy his win or call him overrated if he struggles.

I approve of the fight but the style match up favours Floyd heavily.
I wouldn't call Zab Judah a slick fighter.

You think Ortiz is slow? He's not fast obviously but I wouldn't say he's slow.

But to the thread, Mayweaher is most definitely the favourite and rightfully so, lay off or not.

The fight is legit no question but it's a different class of fighters in there.
