    According to WBO/WBA lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez, a deal has been reached to fight former WBA super featherweight champion Likar Ramos (24-3, 18KOs) on July 16 in Mexico. Ramos, a southpaw, was selected by Marquez to help him prepare for a November 12 trilogy fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, which takes place at 144-pounds. Talks broke down over money with Marquez's first choice, David Diaz.

          Never heard of him, but 24-3 with 18 KO's, I guess he's a perfect "tune up", also a southpaw.

          Will look in to a couple of his fights.

              They should have the tune-up at 144 to help JMM adjust to the weight.

                      This is a tune-up. It doesn't matter who he fights in lead up to Pac.

                                      its a tuneup fight you idiot, its not like this guy is going to be fighting for Marquez's lightweight titles. Marquez is moving up in weight so hes trying to adjust before he fights pacquiao.
