You don't or haven't actually boxed have you Larry?

everyone thinks of that 1lb as if it's that person's own fat ass losing 1lb. which is EXTREMELY SIMPLE, but until you reach an approximate 8% or less of body fat percentage and are asked to lose ONLY 2lbs or even 1lb, we'll see how SIMPLE it is, til then it's fat 20%+ BF percent people thinking it's just a measly pound that has no mental, or even more importantly physical effect!

i think manny can always cut martinez up and try to end the fight early with the ref stopping it, but then i can see martinez doing that to manny as well...
i'd have to say mayweather, he has the intelligence to beat him, too bad he isn't fighting anymore though

I've never claimed it was the 1 or 2lbs, I'm saying if you know what it's like to be DRY at 147 or even 146lbs and you're at a very low bodyfat percentage, to be asked to lose anymore is why boxers have passed out, have needed IV Fluids, and have even died due to the lack of proper hydration and fluid in the brain. so it does have it's mental and physical factors, on top of the superior attributes of Manny Pacquiao, but my question still stands, if Manny Pacquiao is so much better than Cotto, why ask for the catchweight in the first place, since it produces no advantages?

And funny that Oscar had no problem KO'ing a roided out Vargas but was beaten into submission/retirement by a midget moving up from lightweight/featherweight.

During the mandatory drug testing after the de la Hoya fight, Vargas tested positive for the banned steroid stanozolol better known as Winstrol. Vargas said the steroids were given to him without his knowledge, but he accepted full responsibility. The Nevada Athletic Commission announced on November 20 of 2002 that it would fine Vargas $100,000 because of his use of steroids. Fernando Vargas was suspended for nine months.

A-Side Meth is a hell of a drug....
Maybe Oscar was on roids the night he fought Vargas as well?

And, that Oscar from the Vargas fight, roids or no roids, was much better than the one that fought Pac. However, that Pac victory is one of the greatest nights in boxing history.
