Robert Guerrero hasn't lost since 2005, he deserves Khan or Maidana

Robert Guerrero's been on an incredible run since his only lost to Gamaliel Diaz back in 2005. The Ghost is a throwback fighter, because he avenged his loss by knocking Diaz out in the rematch. Khan hasn't rematched Prescott, Victor Ortiz hasn't rematched Maidana, Linares hasn't rematched Salgado. None of these so called top fighters have dared to step back in the ring with their nemesis. These guys need to redeem themselves to the fighters that KO'ed their ass before we can start calling them legit. The Ghost is the real deal and should get the Khan fight. If not Amir, then why not put him in with Maidana. Guerrero will be the next superstar if he can beat them!!

I want him to get the fight no doubt.

    But deserve? no.

Not a single fight at 140.

    He's not ranked at 140.

I would love to see him get the fight.

    But, he dosen't deserve it.

There's still fights I want to see Guerrero in at 135. He can't demand a Khan or Maidana shot at 140 yet because he hasn't done anything there, nor does he hold a title at LW. I'd be fine with him fighting those guys but he isn't owed anything.

He lost to Orlando Salido on the Mayweather-Baldomir undercard back in Nov '06. Even though it was changed to a NC it still doesn't look pretty good. I am a huge fan of Guerrero and want him to get that fight against Khan.

Remember Oscar, Floyd, Manny and many other great fighters moved up from smaller weight classes and dominated at higher weights. That argument holds no weight. Manny Pacquiao didn't have a fight at welterweight before he moved up either. The Ghost has gotten better since he's moved up. He'll be at his best at 140 in my opinion.

He hasn't fought anybody since 05 besides bums and punching bags. Khan, Ortiz, Maidana, Bradley all **** on his resume.

Guerrero is a good boxer but quit acting like he deserves this and that because hes undefeated because hes fighting a bunch of bums.

of course he deserves the fights. did amir khan deserve to fight MAB after getting knocked out in 54 seconds? and then he gets a WBA title shot in his first fight at 140 against salita.

what would be so wrong about ghost getting those fights? dude's won titles at 126, 130, and some solid wins at 135...what had khan done to deserve MAB and the title shot? it's not like the MAB win was even impressive and probably should have been a NC anyway.

he got whooped by salido and that should not be a no contest because salido passed a blood test the next day...also who has he beat?? he outboxed the limited katsidis, but who else? a washed up casamayor? klassen? litzau? lol don't make me laugh...granted he looked excellent against katsidis but katsidis is tailor made for his style, remember styles make fights, i think khan beats him fairly easily if the fight happens

The Ghost is a beast. He should get the fight because he will be the perceived easiest fight being he will be moving up in weight. He is a very technical boxer with a decent reach and would catch Khan making mistakes.
