On the 18th of June at the Centre Claude-Robillard in Montreal, as part of the event UGC 27, Ali Nestor Charles (10-5-2) will try to get his hands on the WBC Latino super middleweight crown by facing the veteran Mexican boxer and Los Angeles resident, Edgar Ruiz (22-9-1), 38, who has held the belt in 2010. Note that Ruiz scored a knock out in 1:30 over Kevin Bizier in his last fight at the Bell Centre in February.
