I don't blame Denis for taking that final blow. If the referee refuses to step in you are only forced to continue. This isn't the first or the last time a fighter looks to the ref to see if he'll stop the fight and if they don't continue to punch. Mayweather, Mosley, Pacquiao, Cotto.. many have done it.
