Comments Thread For: Guerrero Ready: Me and Khan Would Be Tremendous!

BoxingScene.com ran a recent article in which WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan said that he had no interest facing IBF junior welterweight champion Zab Judah. He said that he wasn't interested because Judah is a "runner" just like his last opponent Paul McCloskey. The article can be found here.

I actually believe Guerrero would be a much tougher challenge to Khan than Zab Judah or maybe even bradley. Call me crazy but Guerrero looks very solid right now in his career and I have no doubt he can make 140 without any issues at all.

Khan vs. Guerrero is the fight the fans want to see. Two young hungry fighters in their prime going at it. Making good competitive fights is what boxing is all about!!! This is a no brainer, make this fight HBO/GBP!! I'm there!!

I feel the same way. Guerrero would be a tougher fight for Amir than a fight against Zab. But the risk/reward ratio just doen't add up for Amir if he takes on Guerrero.

Bradley will be the toughest fight for Amir at 140 though.

                YEP!!!

I actually would PICK Guerrero to beat Khan, I think they are thinking "He is moving up" "He is not known for his Power" and "He will stand and fight"

but I think Khan will be in for a LONG NIGHT and I think Guerrero would start to pick him apart the second half of the fight ESPECIALLY since Khan slows down after around the 5th or 6th Round

I have a feeling he is not going to fight Zab or Guerrero, he will probably end up trying to FINALLY get revenge against Prescott or some other BS fight, they was also trying to get a fight with Erik Morales which tells you what type of fights they are TARGETING!

And LOL at him for trying to turn Bradley not taking that fight into "Bradley Is Scared Of Him" hahaha That has nothing to do with it and he knows it, Bradley is clearly having issues with Gary Shaw and instead he is probably waiting for his contract to run out at the end of June and he will JUMP to Top Rank and get his fight with Pacquiao...at least that is what I THINK will ultimately happen

Wow make it golden boy, guerreros jab n boxing/technique will be too much for khan, im not a khan hater i jus dont see how good people see him, he could barely beat maida, erik morales outboxed maida way easier than khan, i think timmy would beat khan, i think zab could come close, n guerreros power n jab can keep khan away, khans speed n high volume of punchin can give guerrero some problems, this is a 50/50 fight

I was pretty impressed by Guerrero's win over Katsidis. This fight seems more competitive than judah vs khan. Hope they make it happen.
