Comments Thread For: Booth: Haye's Style is All Wrong For Wladimir Klitschko

Much has been made of the recent mind games employed by world heavyweight champions David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko eight weeks out from their world title unification blockbuster on July 2, but the Londoner's trainer, Adam Booth, insists his man won't be swayed by anything that goes on before the pair touch gloves. Booth hit the nail on the head. wlad is not ready for Haye's ferocity and speed.

Haye is tailor made for Wlad. He's a smaller version of Derrick Jefferson.

K2 has a good understanding of the style of fighters they do better against, which is why we see Vitali taking pressure fighters and Wlad against boxers.

That said, a sharp and aggressive Haye is a dangerous match-up for Wlad.

Wlad doesn't fight like that anymore.

And Jeffersons only similarity is his tendency to keep his left low. Haye is a completely different fighter, the entire fight Jefferson was in range for Wlad jab (which Wlad didn't use as much as he does now) Haye won't be and Haye offers a lot more movement that Jefferson in both his hands and feet.

Am I saying Haye will win? No but it will not be like that fight at all apart from the fact it will I'm almost 100% sure end in a KO.

Well of course not, Wlad likes opponents that he can KO in a great way. A lot of people is saying that Haye is a "hard, fast puncher" ... he might be, but he's not aggresive at all... he runs all the time and throws a few punches per round ... if he continues to do that against Wlad then I'm sure he'll be KO'd by receiving a lot of hard jabs .

People are talking like Wladimir cherry picks his opponents. He takes on all comers, its not his fault the heavyweight division sucks. Name one (willing) fighter who Wlad should have fought that he avoided?

Who is saying Wlad avoids people?

As far as I can see Booth and the rest of the people on here and merely stating that Haye possesses a different style to anyone he's fought before. Haye has fought people with a similar style to Wlad's before, but Wlad is much more effective and clinical and simply a better fighter than anyone Haye has faced.
