Trying not to be too ****y, Jalisco boxer Juan José "Goofy" Montes vowed to contend successfully for the super flyweight championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC), which is owned by Veracruz Tomas "Gusano" Rojas. For the last few weeks, Montes has been training with IBF champion to Cristian Mijares in Durango. Montes faces Rojas in Chiapas on May 21 on a card promoted by Zanfer and HG Boxing.
