The flyweight champion of the WBA, Hernan "Tyson" Marquez, has begun preparing for what will be his first title defense on July 2 in Hermosillo, Sonora. Marquez is back in camp in Los Mochis, where he started training the moment the date was confirmed for his first defense of his championship. Tyson (30-2-1, 23 KOs) will defend his world title at the Multipurpose Center in Hermosillo against a challenger who will be announced in the coming days. The challenger will likely come from Nicaragua, Panama or Peru.
