The interim flyweight champion of the World Boxing Association, Jean Piero Perez, will have to go three weeks without doing the sparring, as confirmed by his attorney, Rogelio Espino. Last week, Jean Piero received an unintentional headbutt on the right eyebrow during a sparring session at the Gym "Maco" Arboleda at the building Appropriations Latinos. Perez was scheduled to defend his title on May 27 in Argentina, against former champ Juan Carlos Reveco.
