De Leon said that he will be facing Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo (37-0) of Thailand. The Mexican fighter wants to face the winner of the Orlando Salido-Juan Manuel Lopez rematch after his July fight.

As much as i would like to see Ponce win a world title again i think Piriyapinyo will derail his ambitions for the time being.Piriyapinyo is damn talented but Ponce will be the best he has fought i got him by close decision
