He isn't ready for those just yet. Give him 5 more fights.

Wow, did I read the article correct, where they claiming a win over Ty Fields was a break through win? If so that is really really non-impressive.

I thought Perez would have an easy time after the big names pulled out. I believe he would have won regardless. Tye Fields also showed his best form so far but Perez was in a different class. It was little more than an amateur tournament though for Perez, he still hasn't faced top class professionals.

Perez vs Solis would be an interesting match-up in the future.

The Klitschkos love fighting bums with inflated records. Perez is PERFECT for them!!!

They will build him up to be the next ATG, and tell lies about how he is ready with only 16 fights.

Vitali vs Perez, CHAMPIONSHIP fight coming soon..

You are mistaken. This kid is neither a bum nor does he have an inflated record.

i want to see Perez mix it up with the up and coming British HWs first, then move onto the Europeans.

He's 2-3 years away from being ready to WIN a world title, but in all seriousness he's about 1 year away from being as "good" as 90% of every other HW challenger in recent years.

This was the first I've seen of Perez but he definitely looked impressive for a 25 year old. I'm glad he's a heavyweight who doesn't have a ton of body fat like so many do now. He's definitely not ready for the brothers yet, but I agree 5-10 fights away. You figure he's got Helenius, Haye, and Adamek ahead of him immediately before earning the brothers, not to mention to buildup fights to those 3
