While it's been rumored for the last couple of weeks, WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch has officially confirmed that he broke away from longtime promoter Mick Hennessy of Hennessy Sports. Froch has become a free agent, but doesn't state if he plans to retain a new promoter. Recently, unbeaten lightweight star John Murray cut ties with Hennessy and signed up with rival promoter Frank Warren.

Hennessy hasn't had the traction to get Froch what he deserves in the UK. He seems like a nice guy, but he can't even get Froch's fights available to the public. Carl is better off seeking a new promoter.

how can u say froch is greedy lol ? he was prepared to pay $250k for the fight to be in notts after hennessy failed to secure it for 10,000 fans at the arena and is now fighting in front of 1,200 people in atlantic city.
