Who are you telling? Vernon is good, but he looked like a monster because of his experience fighting Shane. They fought a ton of times in the amateurs and Vernon basically had Shanes style down, which is why he looked so good. Notice how he never looked as spectacular against anyone else he fought.

I 100% sure Floyd saw things in Vernon's game, when they worked together, that he could easily expoit, which is why I would put a huge amount of Money on PBF UDing him. FWIW I actually think Floyd makes it look easy......no offense to the late Vernon Forrest.

I actually use to be a Floyd fan back in the day and followed alot of his career, and remember reading about his sparring sessions with Forrest.

While I know you don't show everything in sparring, the way they describe those sessions and the eagerness they displayed in wanting to get that fight, let me know they were extremely confident in Floyd winning.

Usually when a fighter comes out that quick wanting a fight, then 100% of the time they must have seen something they can exploit.
          we will never know
yet Floyd was always more $$/famous than Vern due to nepotism alone. even if they were 10 years old
i would have shown him 65% tops heck i would have taken a knee lol

I think he has a better shot against Pac. Maybe thats a pickem with a slight edge to Forrest but I think Floyd beats him pretty easily or should I say comfortably. Again, my stance is that alot of the top WW's wouldve given Floyd trouble and may have beaten him pre retirment because he was too small but when he came back against JMM & Shane he had filled out nicely and I think he can now hold his own.

Now I think he has no problem with a prime Forrest, Margs, Cotto, and so on strictly due to the weight gain that puts him near the same level as them physically. They still have that advantage over him but its not huge like it was before when he was coming into the ring at 146 pounds for WW fights

Vernon would lose to both IMO. Hard to gauge with Pacquiao since he's only fought one live body at 147 but I see both beating Forrest via decision.

So your saying Shane isn't shot? Guess you should be looking forward to Pac/Mosley fight, after-all, he only looked bad in his last two fights because he was in there with boxers and had his usual stamina issues.

Obviously, between the 2, Mayweather has the better chance, but all saying this is going to get me is Red K and people touting "Mayweather is an undefeated fantasy fighter, but Manny never wins fantasy fights" becuz everyone here seems to be a bunch of parrots repeating everyone around them...

But to explain, Mayweather's defensive ability and his adaptability always leaves question marks on how he'll handle an opponent. Manny fights like a shorter prime Shane Mosley with less power. And we saw what Forrest did to Mosley

Weird angles from Mayorga gave Vernon trouble so I give Pac a better chance than May because he wont be required to outbox the bigger man.
