It looks like Vanes is picking his oppentant and sticking with him regardless of how long it takes to get in the ring, not the sign of a true fighter let alone a champion.

I used to like Vanes, but less and less as time goes on. He's ridiculously overprotected by Arum.

He should be fighting Dzinziruk, Cotto, Wolak, or Williams.

For his own sake he shouldn't fight any of them. He for sure would lose to Razor, Cotto, and PWill. I'd give him an OK chance against Wolak but I still think he loses.

Win or lose, he needs to step up. He's been fighting the same level of opponents for several years now.

agreed and to be honest I think fighting the level of opposition he has stagnated his talent (kid was pretty talented)

I think they have brought this kid along perfectly and now its time for him to try to challenge for a title. Wolak would be a great fight for him.

wolak has ducked vanes several times in the past and now that he has made a name for himself by beating the great yuri foreman he surely will stay away from vanes. Razors promoter clearly ducked vanes instead taking wanting to take on wolak in a story published on this own site, pwill is still recovering from being ktfo.... What the **** do people want from this kid??? He asks for fights and gets ducked and then fights a Saul roman who is more dangerous than anyone canelo has ever fought and u guys still hate on him...
