Comments Thread For: Khan Training Hard, Full Focus on Beating McCloskey

Amidst the uncertainty over TV rights for his upcoming fight against Paul McCloskey, WBA light-welterweight titlist Amir Khan kept his composure to ensure that he was fully prepared for whatever his challenger has to offer. Khan revealed during a conference call earlier today that he was aware of the speculation over his homecoming fight yet had left matter in the hands of his team as he bids to prevent 'Dudey' from causing an upset at the MEN Arena, Manchester on Saturday night.

Sky had done the build up for this fight great. We wont see the Sky version of 24/7 'Behind the Ropes' now on Sky!

Who learned you how to spoke?

Who cares about the behind the ropes. You need subtitles trying to understand both camps and this fight is clearly a nonsense tune up. Khan cherry picks from a bunch of feather fisted nobodies and he then expects fans to pay to watch a one sided fight?

This just shows how Khan and Ricky Hatton have no power in the promotion game. A British World Champion coming back from America after a big tear up against Maidana has to resort to Primetime? Good on Sky for cancelling this nonsense fight and hopefully Khan's team will strive for better match ups.
