    WBC featherweight champion Hozumi Hasegawa is ready for a war. He defends the title against mandatory challenger, and former champion Jhonny Gonzalez, on Friday in Kobe, Japab. Hasegawa-Gonzalez is part of a WBC tripleheader at the venue. Last November Hasegawa went up by two weight divisions to beat Juan Carlos Burgos to capture the vacant belt.

              For real. This is a great fight and true toss up fight. War gonzalez hopefully nacho helps him cover up that chin and if he did i think he will take it.
              But i think the reason they dont is bc of the time diffrence and think that is why japanese fighters dont come over alot bc of the time diffrence.

                  True i got a lot of Respect for the Japs and there culture but they need to start trying to come to the USA and get on Major networks i hope GB gets smart and signs some japs in the future there Fighters are underrated

                    the thing about that is in japan, boxing is just as big as it is in the us, maybe even bigger these days. their stars are paid very well, and unlike mexico, they arent close enough to here to make it so lucrative that they are as willing to travel. its sad, but hopefully it'll change as time goes on.
