What does the average pro boxer nutrition consist of? How does his food intake change from the start of training to mid then the last week and last few days? What are their macronutrients like and there caloric intake. Do they eat above maintenance when trying to make weight for a fight, but also having enough energy to fuel them punishing workouts?
A pro's nutrition

You want a list of the macronutrients that average boxer eats. Macronutrients are composed of three basic categories: fats, proteins, and carbs as I understand. Without asking a bunch of fighters I would assume that they eat a nice mix of each category to provide strength and endurance for training, muscle repair, etc. Of course, if they have to cut weight they will have a slight calorie deficit (their caloric intake will be such that they burn more than they take in on a day). The human body can function quite well at a caloric deficit as long as essential vitamins and minerals are present and the deficit is for a loss of fat, while minimizing muscle loss of course. A nutritionist and supplements are probably used to assure these goals are met. Im guessing that rice, chicken, turkey, fresh veggies, protein shakes, pasta are eaten to satisfy these requirements. Hope that helps, and in keeping with the boxingscene theme you are probably a ******* that worships Fraud Gayweather. Now take the tests and ask for 100 million. Coward, LOLComment
