Canelo vs Rhodes June 18 in Mexico.....Done Deal

Nobody is hyping him everyone wanted canelo to fight a top 10 contender and now that he is that top 10 contender conviniently Rhodes becomes a tomato can.


Lets be real about this Canelo can beat the Kirklands and Angulos of his division and people like you will still say he's fighting Tomato cans. It's a no win situation and what it comes down to is that you hate him because he's more popular thatn whatever fighters you cheer for.

I don't hate the guy (I don't even know him!) and he is not more popular than the fighters are cheer for. But anyway Canelo is nothing special he looks like he is planted in cement in the ring and kid just doesn't move his head. He got KD by lightweight in Jose Cotto and could not finish Hatton but Rhodes is nothing special either. Either way nothing impressive should come out of this and is at best an undercard fight in some ****ty independent PPV.

Funny like all Canelo fans are hyping Rhodes up so they can overate Canelo after the fight. Rhodes is a nobody and doesn't deserve to be on anybodys top 10 JR MW lists.

Rhodes is 34 and has gotten his ass whooped everytime he steps up,guy got his ass beat by Otis Grant and Gary Lockett and now suddenly because ring bumps him to 4 in there rankings hes a top notch fighter.Did you even know dlh owns ring magazine so basically he can pump up whoever he wants. AND FOR THE 1000TH TIME WHO HAS THIS BUM BEAT THAT HAS ANY RELEVANCE.

This is gonna be a fun ass fight. I though for sure canelo would be fighting a nobody this fight and maybe the next couple. This is a legit fight as Rhodes is a contender. I think rhodes is a bit overrated but I expected canelo to fight doo doo drown and his sister in his next 2.

Anyone expecting canelo to immediately be fighting the cottos dizzy's and pwill's of the world needs to step back to reality. Rarely do first time, very young beltholders start fighting the best in their divisions immediately. I mean look at juanma, Ricky burns, Andre berto etc.

Benitez was fighting HOF Antonio Cervantez at 17 years old and guys like Leonard before he was even Canelo's age, Vargas was fighting guys like Quartey, Wright and Trinidad at Canelo's age. Rhodes doesn't even compare hell he can't even clean their asses so don't come up to me with this BS about a big step up in competion. Yeah he step up from bum to almost bum!

Benitez was done when he was 24, vargas was done in his mid twenties as well and trinidad and Vargas had 300+ Amature bouts before they turned pro even at a young age.
