This is a great fight and it definitely takes the sting out of the WBC basically giving Canelo a belt.

I am very pleased with this as Rhodes is deserving of a payday and Canelo has a great chance to prove his mettle.

You're wrong, you're an idiot, Mayorga was a crappy first title defense, Rhodes is a legitimate opponent.

grow up, stop being so biased, even if this is just the internet.
He had a win 6 months ago before you talk sht know what your talking about. Not to mention he beat Vargas 3 years ago.

This is definitely a good fight, Rhodes has been waiting a while for this shot and he should be in the shape of his life for this fight, with his awkwardness and power he could make this very interesting.

Rhodes totally deserved this shot and must have been spitting blood when Hatton Jr jumped the queue.

Difficult to call, Rhodes is a far superior fighter to Hatton Jr but I'm sure the champ will have all the advantages that GBP can get him.

              Why would you bump?

              This answer is ******ed.

I got a nice laugh though.

Rhodes is definitely a step up in comp, he will be the first real test for Alvarez.
