Comments Thread For: David Haye: Solis Will Go Down as Yet Another Fat Bum!

WBA heavyweight champion David Haye watched Vitali Klitschko's first round TKO win over Odlanier Solis. Haye is going to fight Vitali's younger brother, IBO/WBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, on June 25 or July 2, but after Wladimir he wants to face Vitali in the fall. At the end of the first round, Solis ate a right hand and went down, but during the fall he injured his right knee and couldn't continue.

Pretty much right minus the 'bum' part.

But Haye really is setting himself up.

A rubbishy temple shot like that could end his evening early and what a damp squib that would be. The danger of heavyweight boxing especially against huge men like the Klits.

      True.

If solis had come in at 220lbs, the solis of 3 years ago say, then he would have had a tremendous speed advantage and could have been different. but 6 ft 1 guy weighin 245lbs is stypid for hw title fight

Solis's knee popped because he is overweight, but that had nothing to do with the punch that scrambled his senses. Haye is a typically disingenuous piece of crap.

Solis was heavier 3 years ago than tonight, he is 250-260 since he started his professional career. Tonight he was at his lightest.

amatuer fight where haye had solis rocked with a uppercut and had that been pro fight, haye would have won by KO. haye got stopped cuz ref saw a slight wobble.

have half you people even seen their amateur fight!.

the fat un professional solis is his own downfall,he would have had better balance and been more able had he been in proper shape, regardless of him still being in better shape,he wasnt in world class athlete shape.

solis if he wasnt so fat would have got up quicker and easier.

he wouldnt have got off balance so easy,he woudlnt have got clipped with a shot also.

solis still landed clean shots on vitali, haye will clown both of them!.
