Would be nice to see him go out on a win. He always fought the elite of the elite. Came up just short against the top .0001% of boxers. He could have won a belt and did a Roy Jones tour.

All legit top 10 guys Mayorga could fight and beat.

Cornelius K9 Bundradge- to go out as a champion would be nice
          Yuri Foreman
          Sechew Powell
          Joel Julio
          Cory Spinks
          Pawel Wolak
          Julio Cesar Chavez Jr
          Roman Karmazin
          Carlos Quintana

          etc.

Fights that would be close imo
          Saul Alvarez
          Vanes Martirosyan
Maybe Antonio Margarito after Cotto beats him.

So his hand mysteriously fully healed on the plane? No one wants to see a fighter who throws fights.

I love Mayorga. He makes fighters look good and sells tickets with his mouth, then gives his beaters credit afterwards like what a real professional fighter should do.

I just hope he doesn't get fed as a stepping stone for great young fighters.

Good to see he is not retiring, he makes the build up to fights a lot better and i think he still has a little bit left in him, but i lost a bit of respect for him the way he quit...
