It certainly wasn’t the worst of times. It fell short of the best, but how could it not. For both of the major boxing stars on display Saturday night, the highs of their careers have been, well, really high. [Click Here To Read More]

      Cotto is back!

I feel the same way. COTTO will win the rematch against MANNY. MANNY is my guy but it's obviously clear that he was weight-drained from the catch weight of 145lbs. That's why he didn't have sting on his shots. Without a catch weight, MANNY is in trouble! Sometimes all it takes is a legendary fighter/trainer to guide these already skilled fighters. JUDAH/COTTO/CHAVEZ Jr. are just a few examples. DAWSON will be another since hiring STEWARD. MARTINEZ is a good fighter but he has flaws and got hit more than COTTO did on Sat. I was very impressed with the improvement of COTTO'S defense and ring I.Q. His power is back and even MAYORGA acknowledged how strong he was twice! He will win the rematch against CHEETO and then hopefully get the winner of MANNY/MOSLEY.

The only way Cotto, or anyone else, can beat Pacquiao is if he takes the same PEDs Pacquiao is taking. Aside from that, I'm also convinced that Pacquiao is taking some sort of endurance drug; similar to speed or *******. I find it very hard to beleive that Pacquiao was able to take such huge shots from such big punchers like Cotto and Margarito!

Jesus... Are y'all fucking serious? Cotto will never beat pacquiao. Ever.. And I'm onenof Cotto's biggest fans. I'm just being realistic.. The fight might be a bit competitive but not by much.. Get over it.

I'm actually more concerned about a fight with Martinez then the Pac rematch. If Cotto has vulnerabilities, Manny definitely has vulnerabilities. Cotto went 12 rounds with Pac, he knows what he'll bring to the table. If Miguel's going to have this fight he'll need to leave everything in the ring, commit to everything he does and not back down. He looked solid against Mayorga whose punches are likely heavier, and we saw the return of his right hand. It couldn't hurt to revisit this match-up.
A fight with Martinez is the dangerous one, he'll be up against a legit middleweight with a scary combination of speed and KO power. This should be the end all be all for Cotto since it would be strictly about defining his legacy. He owes it to himself to win then retire, but that doesn't mean he will. It wouldn't matter any which way since he's experienced one of the more storied careers in boxing and people love him for doggin it out against the best, win or lose

I thought Cotto in the first 3 rounds was really troubling Pac, he always gets caught with that uppercut but it never seems to affect him much. Cotto vs Margy then the winner facing the winner and the loser facing the loser.
