All of you who thought Morales had a good shot or would beat JL or Chico stand up!

This past weekend Erik Morales at times looked like Tito Trinidad, unable to adapt to a fighter who was not down with an all out brawl.

I got tired of reading how man BS members would love to see Morales in with either Castillo or Corrales. These fights would be huge mismatches and after listening to Morales ***** after another loss I would love to see one of the two best lightweights in the world decapitate him in the ring.

Rahim is a slick and different than both JL and Chico but if Zahir can stun Morales Chico and JL would kill him.

So, which Morales fans think he should still fight JL or Chico and better yet who is picking him too win?

Morales beating JL or Chico, what a ****ing joke...now lets see who stands up and admits they were licking El Terrible's sack a little too long and a little to hard.

I think he had an off night. His corner ****** as well. He definetly doesn't belong at 135 and yes JL and Chico would KO Morales.

          Okay, I'll bite.
I think Morales would stand a decent chance against JLC and Chico, mostly because neither of those guys fight like Raheem does. Raheem is quick, slick and elusive. That's definitely NOT something you can say about the other two guys.
Morales obviously didn't train for this fight. It happens a lot, guys go into tune up fights unmotivated and out of shape thinking they'll get a KO in a couple of rounds or an easy decision, it happens to the best of them. Morales has also always seemed kind of lazy to me, thinking he'l have an easy time with guys he really shouldn't overlook.
When trained, in shape and well prepared he's a top fighter, there's no doubt about that.
Morales is very good when he's up against guys that aren't too fast and slick. But he'd get outright murdered against a guy like Mayweather.
I think he would give JLC or Chico a run for their money.

Along the same lines as Kenny is my train of thoughts. JL and Chico don't box as nearly as well as Raheem so the result wouldn't be nearly the same. I'd still say he couldn't take Chico and JL but it wouldn't be a one sided fight.

I would love to see Chico or JL fight Morales, after he was knocked into the 7th row he would tell Larry Merchant that he thought he had won the fight.

Blankenship...Morales has no chance of beating beasts like Castillo and Corrales, Morales hasnt been a real puncher since he left featherweight and these two boys could both fight and ko guys at welterweight.

Sure Morales would land a few punches but they would have zero effect, Chico would probably blow Morales out of the water within 5 rounds with some huge punches and JL would break Morales down and hurt him badly, either way Morales would be ****ed and yes it ultimately would be one sided.

Losing to Zahir has NOTHING to do with how Morales would do against anybody else. Styles definitely make fights.

                    hmm

Vs Corrales or Castillo it WOULD be a one-sided fight, just a different kind of one-sided fight. Both those guys are bigger than Erik, used to fighting guys bigger than Erik, would HAPPILY mop the floor with Erik with their much more impressive power and toughness at 135. If Raheem was able to out-fight Morales at times, then Chico and Castillo would stop Morales. Morales would not hear the final bell. No way in hell.
